On the 5th of November 2025, the ED of Vanguard Against Drugs Abuse (VGADA), Dr. Hope Omeiza, joined the Hon. Minister of Youth Development, Hon. Olawande Emmanuel Ayodele to officially launch the Nigerian Youth Help Desk WhatsApp AI Chatbot.
The Help Desk that has already attended to over 5,000 complaints from young Nigerians, addressing issues such as mental health and drug abuse emergencies, employment opportunities, and access to government aid will through this AI-powered WhatsApp platform, allow young people across Nigeria report issues, seek assistance, and access verified opportunities, anytime, anywhere.
This initiative aims to reach at least 1 million youths annually, reinforcing a shared commitment to deliver hope, trust, and inclusion through technology.
