On the 5th of March, 2024, Students from Government Secondary School Apo, Abuja Nigeria had a visit to VGADA Detox Center. They were given a comprehensive tour of the facility excluding Residents ward, learning about its operations and the psychological assessment tools utilized by therapists to aid individuals with Substance Use Disorder (SUD).
Welcomed by the Executive Director and staff members, the visit provided a platform for students to ask questions and gain insights into the effects of drug abuse. This educational experience was not only informative but also fostered a deeper understanding of the importance of addressing substance abuse issues amongst young individuals.
