The VGADA team commenced a free outpatient community outreach which we tagged "Youth Alive DASSAT Community Outreach" seven months ago to our first recipient communities, Wumba and Gbagalape communities of Nyanya in Abuja. We realized that not everyone would have the wherewithal, especially financially to access therapy for their drug addiction and other addiction disorders, and this knowledge inspired us to launch this free outreach program for as many interested residents in these communities. We chose these communities to commence at due to the fact that a reasonable number of youths therein suffer from alcohol and drug addiction disorders. Our participants received proper care and therapy from seasoned clinical psychologists and counselors. In less than three months of commencing therapy sessions, we had outstanding testimonials from the participants. So far, not less than 50 participants have benefited from our outreaches, and we are poised to do more and reach more communities.
